What does it mean to feel?
To share the experience of feeling when feelings no longer roam around unattended. They are bound to a place, a kitchen, a lounge, a bedroom and a bed. Without people these spaces are merely spaces and with two people gliding on feeling the spaces transform.
As darkness reigns in the frame, details, faces and suggestive shapes emerge. Always with a beautiful grey, moments are shared around as a small camera passes fingers, headed back and forth between two lovers. Their hands colliding gently as the camera comes to pass.
Their days are filled with living. With no real pursuit for money, they live life the way we naturally want to. Feelings re surge and withdraw as their temperament remains vocal but quiet. They are the only two people in the world in this moment.
Two buildings lean in to kiss the cheek of the other and lean back. They have a job to carry out. Their backs touching as their arms are crossed. They combine but they are active in their role within society. The personalities shine through the facet of the apartment block as the sun makes her squint and leaves him in shadow. They are lovers.
Our eyes cannot see the environment around us in true resolution as knees come in and out of focus. The time is spent gently wrestling around the city and in more intimate spaces. The dark grey sheen drips to every edge of the picture as we submerge in the experience of two people communicating with their bodies and their minds.
They stop to see nothing in particular but that doesn't matter at all. It has nothing to do with impressive views because the sensation of seeing the same thing amongst the others company is enough. They are pictures showing a visual representation of invisible connections. Almost timeless, time seems to have stood still for them, until a return flight calls them to gate two.
There is no notion of rudeness as these actions surpass crudeness and enter natural behavior. Behavior we crave more than anything else. They are not alone because they have each other and in that moment nothing matters, apart from the experience. Every moment when they wake up as the sun rests on their arm is precious, even sleep. The morning awakens their bodies and they continue the day.
Nothing is conventionally achieved. Nothing is generally done, but so much is going on. They occupy their space quietly with golden smiles and happy hearts as they play out the most important feeling we can feel as human beings.
